    SUMMER FRONT DESK & REGISTRATION OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

    CONFERENCE SERVICES

     

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day operational functions for the Conference Services front desk, registration, and ID card production. Responsibilities include: scheduling, training, supervision of student staff, handling lockouts, coordinating check-ins and check-outs for overnight guests, maintenance of ID card equipment, preparing welcome packet information, coordinating key inventory, distributing parking passes, handling guest questions and concerns. Candidate will work closely with colleagues in Public Safety and Information Technology.

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree by May 2022

    • Experience working in hotel or similar customer service environment

    • Strong organizational skills and communication skills

    • Enthusiastic, friendly, patient and compassionate

    • Ability to problem solve and work independently

     

    DAYS/ HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Evening & weekend hours required during summer. Begin/End: May 1 – August 15, 2021. Up to 35 hours per week. Not to exceed 450 hours.

     

    REPORTS TO: Director of Conference Services, Richard Wolcott

     

    LOCATION: ROTC 206B/Donovan Dance Studio

     

    HOURLY SALARY RANGE: $17-18/hr

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance
    • MBA and/or CPA preferred
    • 5-7 years of professional accounting experience required
    • Strong technical and analytic skills required
    • Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities and deadlines, with attention to detail and an ability to work both independently and in a team environment
    • Understanding of multi-entity accounting and intra/intercompany eliminations
    • Solid understandings of generally accepted accounting theory
    • Ability to design and implement complex reconciliations and general ledger reports
    • Excellent problem solving, communications, interpersonal, analytical, and time management skills required
    • Manufacturing full cycle accounting experience a plus
    • Accounting Shared Service experience in a large, multi-national, publicly-held corporation preferred
    • Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Essbase, and SAP system experience preferred
