JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Career Advisor serves as a liaison between industry, faculty and students within a college and Career Services. They understand industry workforce need and assist students to prepare for employment through career coaching, facilitated learning sessions and other student support. They also assist with matching students with appropriate employment opportunities. The Advisor will provide comprehensive individual and group advisement sessions to target population(s). The overall performance standard for this position is a measurable increase in utilization of career services by students of a college(s) and contribution to the internship and career readiness of St. John’s University students.
