    DATA ADMINISTRATOR, ASSESSMENT

    OFFICE OF THE PROVOST

     

    DESCRIPTION:

    This individual is a data specialist, extracting data from numerous University data systems, performing analysis, and reporting as directed.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Organize, enter and manage assessment data associated with academic and administrative programs.
    • Assist with scheduling, coordinating and administering assessment activities and events as needed.
    • Assist with the organization and publishing of programmatic self-study reports and site visit details.
    • Assist with the implementation and data reports related to course and instructor evaluation and various surveys, including anything on Survey Monkey, E-Listen and paper.
    • Assist with the maintenance of web page content.
    • Participate in necessary meetings, including weekly meeting with the Office of Assessment and appropriate committee meetings.
    • Assist the Vice Provost of Graduate Education, Clinical Operations and Research, and Assessment on special projects as directed.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years professional work experience.
    • Must be a self-starter and can work well both independently and as a team.
    • Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills, initiative, and resourcefulness.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Intermediate skill level required for the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access software).

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Graduate degree with concentration in Business, Education, or Statistics
    • Data management and statistics background desirable
    • Knowledge of Banner preferred
    • Experience in higher education highly desirable

  • Qualifications

     

    High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred with 3+ years’ experience in legal word processing or legal field

    Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

    Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm with 95% accuracy

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Ability to work through complex legal document markups and instructions in a timely and accurate manner

    Ability to prioritize various requests and deadlines simultaneously

    Ability to interact with client and team members in a professional and respectful manner at all times

    Flexibility to work overtime
