CLINICAL COORDINATOR OF AUDIOLOGY SERVICES
ST. JOHN'S UNIVERSITY SPEECH AND HEARING CENTER
JOB SUMMARY:
The Audiology Clinical Coordinator at the St. John's University Speech and Hearing Center will instruct and supervise the clinical experiences for the Doctor of Audiology students as part of the Long Island Doctor of Audiology Consortium, working closely with the Clinical Coordinators at Adelphi and Hofstra Universities. The Audiology Clinical Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining daily audiological operations at the Center including the hearing aid dispensary program. TI1e Coordinator teaches AUD Clinical Practicum Seminars for first-, second-, and third-year students.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Manage audiology clinic at the John's University Speech and Hearing Center
Arrange community outreach educational and screening events,
Supervise Consortium AuD graduate students, part-time supervisors, and graduate assistants In the clinical setting conducting diagnostic assessment, CAP evaluations, aural rehabilitation, hearing aid fittings and programming.
Coordinate the Clinical Externships through monitoring and visiting sites for second- and third year students
Manage the Hearing Aid Dispensary:
Maintain Records for the clinic, students, and clients
Teach AUD Clinical Instruction and Clinical Practica Seminars in Audiology at all year levels:
Maintain and calibrate clinical equipment on both an annual and daily basis
Communicate with St. John's Audiology Program Director, Speech and Hearing Center Supervisor, Consortium Program Director, and Consortium Clinical
Participate in AuD Consortium Academic, Faculty and Clinical Council meetings in addition to department meetings, retreat and committees as appointed
Maintain personal continuing education and professional development
Perform other duties as assigned

HS diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of relevant experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of work experience. Prior experience in sales (lead generation preferred)
