    Clinical Pharmacokinetics Summer Intern Description: Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Internto join our Clinical Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics group ofTranslational Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology department located at ourRidgefield facility. As an Intern, you will be involved in various aspects ofbiopharmaceutics and clinical pharmacology geared towards the clinicaldevelopment of new drugs at Boehringer Ingelheim. In the course of thisinternship you will also learn about the role of translational science andclinical pharmacology in particular during the drug development process. Our competitivecompensation and benefit programs reflect Boehringer Ingelheim's high regardfor our employees Duties & Responsibilities: * Evaluation of preclinical and or clinical pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic drugmetabolism, drug-drug interaction data, interpretation of the findings andpreparation of a report * Discussion and presentation of results Requirements: * Must be graduate or Professional Student in good academic standing. * Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or otherrelated coursework. * Overall, cumulative GPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least 3.000(on 4.0 scale) or better (No rounding up). * Major must be related to the field of internship. Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities: * Highly motivated, diligent and hard wording individuals with excellentanalytical and problem solving skills * Ability to collaborate and work in a cross functional team is an importantrequisite. * Prior good understanding of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics is highlydesirable * Fast learners with a knack for problem learning and applying new softwares. * Prior experience in critically reviewing preclinical and clinicalmetabolism and drug-drug interaction data is an added asset.
