Today, were one of the largest producers of plywood and engineered wood products in North America and the only wholesale stocking distributor for building products that can service the entire United States. Responsibilities Boise Cascade is seeking a summer college intern to gain experience in both the Corporate Communications and Talent Development areas in Human Resources. The student will learn about employee communication, social media and public/community relations, as well as employer branding, organizational design, and leadership development initiatives. This position will split time between two managers at our HQ office in downtown Boise, ID. The student must be available to work at least 20 hours per week.?The ideal candidate is upbeat, eager to learn, a critical thinker, and have good written and verbal communication skills.? Qualifications Basic Qualifications : The successful candidate may either be a recent Graduate, currently attending college in their Junior or Senior year, or pursuing their Masters or Advanced degree. Course of study may be in human resources, communications, PR, marketing, or general business. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or better. PC skills are essential - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
