Description: Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, you will be responsible for developing software to enable on time delivery of Bombardier CITYFLO650 Projects. To this end, you will be part of a team developing Tools used by both Vehicle and Wayside groups. In your role you will: - Be responsible for that all Software design activities in a project are performed according to applicable processes; - Coordinate the plans, strategies and tasks with the Project Manager, Test Coordinator, System Engineer, Safety Engineer and Safety Validator; - Report the progress, status, issues, risks and remaining work to Test Coordinator and continuously look for improvements in our products, tools and processes; - Write Non Conformity Report (NCR) for errors found in the systems under test and the test environments and continuously look for improvements in our products, tools and processes; - Integrate sub-systems in system lab, and make sure that the system under test is ready for system test; - Work as a team in a dynamic work environment. Qualifications As our ideal candidate: - You hold a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent; - You have two (2) years of experience in an Embedded Engineering Role (Computer, Software or Electrical Engineering); - You have a solid knowledge of Software development, database design, embedded systems and algorithm analysis; - You have a solid knowledge to program in the C, C#, .NET and C++ Language; - You possess fundamentals of electronic circuit design; - You have excellent English and French communication skills, both written and spoken.
