Facilities Intern POSITION SUMMARY This position assists in the day-to-day functions of the PTC office environment and the fitness center to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Responsibilities include coordinating employee moves, minor repairs to the facility and scheduling outside contractors. Facilities related special projects will also be assigned, as well company events. Tasks are performed independently under minimal supervision. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES * Lead facility waste reduction efforts. * Assist with day-to-day operations and upkeep of facility (i.e. nameplates, minor maintenance such as hanging pictures/changing lock cores/etc.) * Support Senior Facilities Coordinator in upkeep of floor layouts in AutoCAD * Coordinate training room setups and special meeting requests * Process Facilities helpdesk requests * Provide assistance in maintaining and auditing the company EMS * Provide administrative support to facilities team as needed * Interface with janitorial, cafeteria and landscaping contractors to ensure scope of services are maintained * Support special projects and other duties as assigned POSITION COMPETENCIES (10 most important) - Customer Focus - Decision Quality - Priority Setting - Informing - Building Effective Teams - Conflict Management - Timely Decision Making - Organizational Agility - Functional/Technical Skills - Interpersonal Savvy EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS/CONTACTS * Cafeteria vendor * Landscaping provider * Janitorial services company * Signage vendor EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS * Pursuing associates or bachelors degree in business administration, facilities management or related.
