The Protein BioAnalytics department is seeking an Associate Scientist to join a team of researchers involved in the development of bioanalytical methods for biologics. The primary responsibilities include development and execution of ligand-binding assays (LBA) for quantifying biotherapeutic proteins and biomarkers. Specific Responsibilities * Design, development of PK/PD immunoassays and subsequent sample analysis of study samples for discovery biologics portfolio. * Collaborate and communicate experimental results with the relevant project teams. * Operation and troubleshooting of automated immunoassay platforms (Gyros, etc.) * Independently perform complex experiments with strong attention to detail and documentation. * Excellent written and oral skills are necessary. Requirements * BS degree with 10+ years, MS degree with 7+ years, or PhD with 0-2 years of relevant academic/research and/or industry experience. Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (biology, immunology, biochemistry, chemistry, cell biology etc.) * Proven technical expertise in developing manual and/or automated immunochemistry assays such as ELISA, ECL (MSD), Luminex, or Gyros. * Strong knowledge of immunoassay method development * Experience in biological sample handling from in vivo/animal studies. * Experience in developing LBA methods for a wide variety of biologics: antibodies, fusion proteins and antibody-drug conjugates. * Experience and/or understanding of complementary bioanalytical techniques such as mass spectrometry (LC-MS) etc. Posted 3 Days AgoFull timeR1510409 Data Privacy Link Were creating innovative medicines for patients fighting serious diseases.
