    IMS Medical Scientist Princeton - NJ - US/en-US/BMS/job/Princeton---NJ---US/IMS-Medical-Scientist_R1512722/apply Summary The Director/AD plays a key role in developing and implementing the US Medical strategy for Immunoscience (IMS) (Main responsibility will be as the US medical point for Tyk2 but will also work on Orencia and Nulojix) Establishes and maintain interactions with external medical and scientific experts to assess unmet medical needs in order to develop an appropriate medical strategy Interacts and maintains relationships with the medical matrix (particularly field medical, global medical and HEOR), physician leaders and researchers, payers and advocacy groups and other external and internal customers to implement the US IMS strategy Collaborates with functional areas outside of medical including marketing, sales, access, legal, regulatory, and research and development. This position supports the development and execution of the medical plan to ensure that strategies, objectives and tactics are aligned across the medical matrix and integrated with the strategic brand plan Coordinates and leads multiple medical activities including clinical study support, scientific advisory boards, congress support, medical training of BMS employees, training of external speakers, competitive intelligence, publications and post marketing trials. These interactions will occur via teleconference as well as via live face-to-face meetings, for which the Director/AD would be expected to spend approximately 20% of their time in the field.
