JOB DESCRIPTION:

GAF BUSINESS SYSTEM INTERNSHIP

Put your classroom studies into practice in the real world and gain the experience to help determine your journey after graduation. At GAF, we’ll make sure you get going on your very first day with a comprehensive orientation into our company. In our program you will have the opportunity to own your own projects, participate in meetings, and work cross-functionally with other departments.

GAF is looking for a Process Excellence Intern. The ideal candidate for this role is majoring in Engineering or Engineering Technology. The intern would be responsible for documenting operations processes in our world class training system using video, pictures, and text. The intern will also organize the information within a plant based structure that allows easy access for users from many different plant locations.

JOB DUTIES:

• Document operations processes using video, pictures, and text in a world class training system.

• Catalog information about manufacturing equipment and processes across similar facilities.

• Create visuals and develop scannable labels that allow for easy access to critical information by Machine Technicians and Mechanics.

REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent communication skills are all necessary as is the ability to operate in a team. The successful candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and an anticipated graduation date between December 2023 and May 2025.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, without visa sponsorship now and in the future.

All GAF internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however, there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 37.5 hours per week over the summer. Transportation, F-1 and HB-1 visa sponsorship will not be provided in association with these positions.
