Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with experience operating DMG 5-AXIS machines to join our team at our facility in Grand Rapids, MI. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CNC Mill operations, AS9100 standards, blueprint reading, G-Code programming, GD&T, ISO 9001 certification, machine setups for production runs, M-Code programming, manual machining skills.
This position is for our B-Shift ( M-Thur 730pm to 6am). Training will take place during our A-Shift (M-Thurs 6am to 430pm) for no less the 90 Days.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) machines
- Utilize AS9100 standards for precision machining
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Program G-Codes for efficient machining processes
- Understand and apply GD&T principles
- Demonstrate experience with ISO 9001 certification
- Perform machine setups for production runs
- Program and execute M-Codes as needed
- Utilize manual machining skills when required
Qualifications
- Experience with Dmg Mori Seiki, Kitamura, Mazak, Okuma, Matsuura, and Haas machines
- Proficiency in CNC Mill operations
- Previous experience with AS9100 standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Strong knowledge of G-Code programming
- Familiarity with GD&T principles
- Experience with ISO 9001 certification
- Proven ability to perform machine setups for production runs
- Knowledge of M-Code programming
- Skilled in manual machining techniques
