    I&E/Maintenance Planner Locations US-LA-Franklin Requisition ID 2018-7880 # of Openings 1 Position Type Regular Full-Time Position Summary As an I&E Planner, you will bring together all the resources (labor, materials, equipment, special tools, etc.) required to accomplish planned jobs in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner to enable continuity of production and with minimalquipment downtime. Primary responsibilities are preparing job plans and coordinating planned work schedules with production. The I&E Planner is responsible for planned work, which incorporates cost, importance, labor, materials, etc. that is required. The planning of the work is to ensure that when the work is scheduled it can be completed Safely and with the least interruption to operations as well as the most efficient use of maintenance resources. Once work has been planned and material availability has been assured, work scheduling can be addressed. Job Responsibilities Ensuring the permit to work and any other safety system (Safe work, live work, Work at Height, Lifting, Slinging and Rigging etc.) are identified in planning and strictly adhered to. Daily Management of work order back log Maintain 2-4 week complete ready back log that is in alignment with production needs Provides labor and costs estimates for external work. Works with area craft and walks the job to develop complete job packages, this includes: Job plan (work instruction and required safety documentation) Kit content (Parts and Material) Required equipment/special tools Required labor Required permits and drawings Requisitions required parts Proficient utilization of the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Completes work orders in the CMMS to facilitate equipment histories Closes works orders in the CMMS Finalizes and communicates weekly I&E schedule Supports efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Care Management System in line with the requirements of the RC14001 technical specification, as applicable to the site/region. Requirements Associates or Bachelors degree in Technical field 3-5 years of I&E Planning and Instrumentation/Electrical craft experience in an industrial environment. Good understanding of machinery and troubleshooting skills Working aptitude with CMMS, MRP and associated reporting software Strong written and oral communication skills Excellent organizational and planning skills and be a recognized leader Reading and math skills along with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and Ability to produce field sketches Strong computer skills Incumbent must have initiative and drive and a desire to work in a dynamic team environment.
