Our ideal web developer is someone interested in building complex web systems, everything from scaling databases to the UI. This person would have experience in frontend and/OR backend development and looking to develop their skill set in both. Responsibilities: Design and write software to handle petabytes of data from our fleet of cars and sensors Create visualization and data management tools to handle our internal data-sets Work with a team of other great engineers to scale our data infrastructure pipelines Work with other software teams to architect and release new internal products Requirements: Currently completing B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent Exposure to at least (3) of the following technologies or their equivalents: Javascript/HTML/SASS, ReactJS, Python, MongoDB, and AWS Interest in web development and learning technologies listed above Interest in big data, its collection, processing, labeling, and storing Bonus Points: Experience creating production quality UI Experience with 3D rendering web technologies such as ThreeJS Experience writing production level C++ code Experience in building and securing server architectures Experience with unit-testing frameworks for front and backend systems Experience in web and system security protocols and implementations Experience working with large relational databases (Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce, etc.)
