Profiler - National Logistics Center What the National Logistics Center contributes to Cardinal Health: The National Logistics Center provides a premier level of service to our customers with optimal levels of inventory by collaborating with our internal and external partners to warehouse and distribute pharmaceutical products to our forward distribution centers (FDC). The team works with Sourcing, Customer Service, Finance, FDC Operations, and Sales teams to ensure our customers needs are met, our process are efficient, supplier performance is evaluated, and products arrive in the right place, at the right cost, at the right time and in the right quantities. Accountabilities and Expectations: * Responsible for continuous velocity resetting of all warehouse pick zones to maintain optimal pick readiness * Analyze order patterns to develop ideal pick paths * Responsible for working min/max issues, product moves, and creating secondary locations when needed * Responsible for maintaining all specialty pick zones to include over pick, carton pick, glass pick, no-cut, chemo and upright storage sections * Document best practices and SOPs for profiling research and execution * Assist with investigating and resolving any inventory discrepancies * Work cross functionally with directors, managers, and supervisors in determining optimal warehouse product data maintenance * Utilize ergonomic best practices to build pick paths * Monitor daily replenishment volume and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure replenishment supports all orders shipped * Maintain building and zone capacity/utilization in all areas * Review historic data to draw conclusions for process improvements * Create and measure relevant process performance metrics * Support lean six sigma initiatives to optimize warehouse layout and cycle times * Mentor associates in profiling best practices Qualifications: * Bachelor degree, Industrial Engineering major preferred * 3-5 years of experience * Understanding of Business Objects, Microsoft Excel, and Access (vlookups/create queries)
