    The Industry Leader- Pharmacy within Cardtronics’ US commercial team has over responsibility for:

    • Leading a team of Account Executives focused on driving revenue and profit growth within the Pharmacy, Grocery & Big Box Retail Industries.
    • Developing and implementing strategies that will deepen and expand relationships with existing customers and penetrate new target prospect accounts.
    • Providing cross functional leadership throughout the organization to ensure that Cardtronics delivers outstanding service and the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Leading and nurturing a high-performing team by being a champion of Cardtronics values: Trust, Excellence, Ambition, Innovation and OneTeam.
    • Identifying strategic imperatives for, and supporting the development of, new products and solutions to allow Cardtronics’ to win more/new business and accelerate its growth.
    • Setting ambitious team and individual performance standards and holding team members accountable against such standards.
    • Being a visible thought leader within the Pharmacy, Grocery & Big Box Retail  industries through actively nurturing a network of industry contacts and representing Cardtronics within industry forums.
    • Developing a deep understanding the competitive landscape and working with the broader Cardtronics organization to develop strategies to create clear and sustainable differentiation gap.

    The Industry Leader - Pharmacy ultimately owns the outcome of creating and delivering the highest levels of revenue/profit growth and customer satisfaction.  The individual should also be capable of driving the expansion and operational delivery of Cardtronics’ full suite of products and solutions.  

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and execute on strategic multi-year growth roadmaps for current customers.
    • Provide deep subject matter expertise and thought leadership on Pharmacy, Grocery & Big Box Retail segment to internal partners, customers, and other stakeholders.
    • Define and execute strategies to drive acquisition of new customers, including market segmentation, prioritization of appropriate targets and rigorous management across the team of the overall sales and pipeline management process.
    • Lead the end-to-end contract renewal and negotiation process.
    • Actively supports the team and seeks business influencers within customers and the industry at large to expand the company’s reach into Marketing, Merchandising, Store Operations, and other critical functional areas.
    • Brief Cardtronics CEO and Executive Leadership on financial/operational results and customer relationship status/issues, as well as identify and advise on growth initiatives, opportunities, etc.
    • Develop and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and retention. 
    • Aggressively work with internal functional partners to identify new solutions, and the accompanying product marketing and go-to-market enablement requirements.
    • Actively participate in customer-facing business reviews, proposals for new or expanded opportunities, etc.
    • The successful candidate will be required to regularly travel to customer locations and our offices in Houston, TX and Frisco, TX.

    SYSTEMS INVOLVED

    • Microsoft Office 365 (primarily Powerpoint, Excel, and Teams)
    • Salesforce
    • ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (or similar contact and lead generation platforms)
    • Internal operational and analytical platforms

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Yes (team ranging in size from three to six members)

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, REQUIREMENTS

    • Four-year university degree, preferably with a Business Administration or Economics major; advanced certification/degree programs in Business Management, Strategy, and/or Leadership preferred.
    • 10+ years’ experience in Fortune 1000 B2B2C Sales, Relationship Management, and/or Product environments, with advancement into leading of customer-facing teams.
    • 7+ years’ strategic and/or operational leadership experience with enterprise customers in the convenience store, drug, grocery, “big box” and/or specialty retail segments.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability for committed results (e.g., prior experience owning P&L and sales outcomes for product, customer segment, division, geography, etc.)
    • Experience in payments, financial technology, or software industries is preferred.
    • Strong ability to control the conversation with a customer and get the customer to act; bias toward action and results.
    • Proven track record of nurturing effective C-suite relationships.
    • Proven track record of assuming larger and additional customer-facing responsibilities.
    • Ability to understand complex and multi-function sales cycles from start to finish.
    • Energy, determination, and service attitude to translate daily customer interaction and requirements into revenue opportunities.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage an opportunity funnel and proactively drive the execution of necessary actions to deliver against assigned goals.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, with proven ability to establish effective working relationships across multiple levels and multiple functions, up to and including C-level.
    • Proven ability to deliver meaningful and insightful presentations to any audience.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and creative problem solving skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-up.
    • Ability and desire to be collaborative and supportive across our “One Team” environment; demonstrated ability to effectively navigate a matrixed functional environment.
    • Adept at simultaneously managing multiple projects, initiatives, and deadlines.
    • High-energy, results-oriented individual who can function effectively and independently with a minimum of supervision.
    • Ability to operate with resilience, courage, and temperament in a challenging and ever-changing environment.
