    Following its establishment in 2012, today PLZEN IS OUR FASTEST GROWING ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT CENTER IN EUROPE; the development center works on the DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF LEAR PRODUCTS RELATED TO MECHANICAL ENGINEERING SUCH AS COMPLEX SEATING MECHANISMS AND STRUCTURES, FOAMS, COATINGS, PLASTICS AND TRIM DEVELOPMENT. With a headcount today of Circa 250 employees.

    The vision for Plzen is not to work as an internal supplier for our European business units but to develop into a leading Design and Development Center working on PROJECTS FOR ALL MAJOR EUROPEAN OEM CUSTOMER GROUPS FROM CONCEPT PHASE THROUGH TO DELIVERY.

     

     

    Due to NEW PROGRAM AWARDED, we are looking for experienced and pasionate Engineers to join our innovative Team. Reporting directly to the business unit FEA Manager and working within the engineering project team you will have a key focus to coordinate and develop new product design activities to customer requirements. 

     

    AS A FEA ENGINEER YOUR ROLE MAY ALSO INCLUDE:  

    • Independent performance of several FEA analysis types - Crash analysis (explicit), Static analysis (implicit), Linear dynamics (implicit).
    • Organize a complex FEA project.
    • Cooperation on an international level within the group.
    • Comparing FEM results with real test results, and optimizing the simulations.
    • Serving as an expert contact for project management, design and testing.
    • Analysing and documenting the FEA results.
    • FEA tasks have to be carried out by using the Lear FEA procedures.

     

    TO BE A SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE YOU MUST HAVE: 

    • Technical university degree and experience in similar position.
    • Experience in automotive is an advantage.
    • Knowledge of explicit FEA analyses.
    • Knowledge of terms like: LS-dyna, PamCrash, Abaqus explicit, Radioss, Abaqus standard, Optistruct, Nastran, Ansys.
    • Communicative knowledge of English or German language.
