Peterson has an immediate need for a Project Engineer Intern for our San Leandro, CA location. As a Project Engineer Intern, you will report to our Senior Project Manager and assist with a variety of documentation projects. Responsibilities * Provide assistance on essential documentation for new equipment sales of Caterpillar power generation products. * Provide technical support and drawings to our external and internal customers. * Assist with the correspondence. * Other projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications Ideal candidate would be someone pursuing a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree. Previous experience working as a project assistant a plus. Must have excellent written, and verbal communication skills, must be able to interpret and create correspondence. Job requires specialized computer skills. Must have experience using various applications including database, spreadsheet, word processing, presentation creation/editing, communicate by e-mail and use scheduling software.
