Seasonal overtime. SCOPE OF POSITION The driver's primary focus and objective is to support the plant by maintaining and completing all required driver duties and responsibilities as well as assisting in operations in a safe and efficient manner. Local runs, home every night, reliable tractors, company uniforms and PPE. Healthcare benefit plan and 401k entitlement is also available. RESPONSIBILITIES * Safely load liquid product into tanker truck. * Safely deliver product to customersâ?? site. * Perform typical operations requirements such as truck loading and unloading, connecting/disconnecting hoses, operating valves, and troubleshooting equipment/operational problems. * Comply with plant policies and procedures. * Coordinate production and maintenance schedules with Plant Manager. * Perform all tasks in a minimal supervisory environment. Able to repair equipment and systems to restore them to safe operational status. * Be a proactive integral Safety Team member, proactively eliminating hazards and promoting a Zero incident Safety Culture. * Complete and maintain safety, quality, and ISO documentation and records. * Drivers may be crossed trained in operations and could be required to assist the Operators or other plant personnel as needed including: * Performing prestart safety and operating checks and operate mobile equipment such as forklift, semitractor and trailer combinations. * Operate a variety of process equipment, including reaction systems, filters, frontend loaders, forklifts and pumps in compliance with prescribed operating procedures. * Monitor and record reactions, adjust valves and controls to maintain system at specified parameters log of gauge readings, shift production, and equipment malfunctions. * Perform general laboratory analysis and calculations required to manufacture products and blends, able to make batch corrections. * Set up and adjust controlling devices. ã?? REQUIREMENTS * High School Diploma or GED. * Must have valid CDL Class A, HazMat and Tanker endorsements including 3 years of recent incident free HazMat and tanker experience * Must have or be able to immediately and successfully pass a DOT physical for HazMat drivers of Commercial Motor Vehicles. * 23 years of industrial manufacturing experience preferred * Experience operating a forklift, frontend loader, and or other heavy equipment. * Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer knowledge. * Must be a selfstarter with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision, is highly motivated, energetic, and enjoys working as part of a team. * Must be able to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
