    Job Description

    This engineer will be responsible for maintaining and growing the capabilities of our Additive Lab and leading development efforts under the TRM to support business unit needs as well as integrating with and enabling swift NPI development. The position will support establishing standards for design, materials, and equipment for our 3D printing efforts. 

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Specific skills needed for this position include: 

    • Demonstrated knowledge of the various additive technologies and proficiency in application assessment
    • 3D CAD modeling in Siemens NX, topological design tool awareness a plus
    • Knowledge of gas turbine manufacturing processes
    • General knowledge of materials and material properties as relates to additive processing and design
    • Demonstrated knowledge of various measuring techniques including CMM, white-light/laser scanning, gages, ... etc. and their use in developing designs
    • Interpretation of engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
    • Capable of developing and monitoring program budgets and timelines
    • Ability to influence and motivate team members outside one’s own reporting structure
    • Ability to manage collective projects and interact with various business process points of contact without need for direct oversight
    • Thoughtful and effective communications skills
    • Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and SharePoint tools and environment

    Qualifications: 

    • Undergraduate Engineering Degree
    • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace or Materials Processing
    • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident
