    Job Description

    QUALITY MANAGER DUTIES:

    Manage all tasks required to comply with FAA-approved Quality Manual. Manage PMA production to support customer requirements.  Site Leader is the FAA Accountable Manager.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The duties and responsibilities regularly performed for this position are:

    • COS Manager for PCT products
    • Responsible for maintaining FAA MIDO relationship
    • Overall responsibility for compliance to applicable FAA regulations and PCT Quality Manual
    • Update Quality Manual and procedures as required
    • Accept (internal) customer POs and schedule production to meet demands     
    • Coordinate with CGT Airworthiness group and ECoE Design Engineering to update existing drawings and obtain FAA approval as required
    • Maintain PCT systems current and suitable for FAA audits
    • NPI – bring new products on line through suppliers and obtain MIDO approval
    • Manages, plan, and provide support for the quality management. 
    • Attend to all Supervisory duties related to leading the PCT team.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

    THE SPECIFIC EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION ARE:

    •  Minimum of 5-8 (current) years’ work in similar industry
    • Bachelor’s degree. Engineering or related
    • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (Part 21 and 45) including associated Orders and Advisory Circulars.
    • Prior experience with part 145/21 certification inspection, preferred
    • FAA DMIR, preferred
