    Job Description

    GENERAL SUMMARY:

    The Fast Track Development Program accelerates professional development by placing participants on several assignments through multiple disciplines during a two-year rotational program. Individuals get hands-on experience by going through three or more rotations gaining key technical, project management, and leadership competencies. These teams develop and support a wide range of projects that enable the critical processes of Chromalloy’s businesses.

    The program will place the individual in all facets of business operations including Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Quality and other support functions. Individuals will participate in Lean Six Sigma Training, Behavioral Assessments, and Leadership Training Seminars. During each phase of assignment, Fast Track participants will establish relationships with peers and leaders, learn fundamentals and be provided feedback from their mentor, supervisors, and program manager. Upon completion of the program, individuals will be placed in a full-time role within Chromalloy that best suits their personal and professional goals and matches the business needs.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Bring assigned projects to completion during each rotation
    • Depending on Assigned Project may be responsible for:
      • Monitor and revise processes to generate cost savings and improve the quality and efficiency of the product and / or process.
      • Activities related to the development of new processes including researching current and emerging technologies, evaluating process cost, quality and safety.
      • Provide coordination of new process installation and process change
      • Manage and implement new work cells
      • Manage supplier performance and develop RCCA for vendor base at the site or regional level
    • Develop leadership skills and competencies needed to Lead People
    • Build technical knowledge of various engine platforms, OEM & Aftermarket Repair process
    • Interact with Senior Management, build relationships with other employees across the globe and make a difference in Chromalloy’s future success.
    • Ability to manage individual relocation process. Will be required to relocated three (3) times within twenty-four (24) month period
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Aerospace

    Minimum GPA of 3.25
