Job Description

Currently, we are seeking  candidates for our Inspector position to join our Chromalloy San Diego team.

• Complete incoming and final Inspection to ensure production is completing processes correctly as defined in the production work instructions.
• Utilize inspection and test equipment (calipers, micrometers, comparator, ruler, meters, etc.) to verify products to specification.
• Capable of performing the various visual, dimensional or NDT Inspections on the various part types.
• Communicate product/process/documentation discrepancies and potential discrepancies to aid continuous improvement efforts.
• Suggest opportunities for improvement for the company.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum 2-yr. experience . as a quality inspector or Aviation Inspection coursework.

• Must be able to read blue prints and drawings.
• Read and understand process documents and industry standards.
• Team Player with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy a must.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent organization skills and willingness to learn.
