Job Description
The Product Line Specialist must develop a strong understanding of the engine components as they relate to key materials that must be acquired for OH’s. Understanding the product families and working closely with engineering to source global suppliers in conjunction with Central Purchasing Team. Role will develop min/max levels for consumables, make decisions on new/reman/repair, and influence inventory levels pending market conditions and material availability history. Role will also support and drive decisions around MRB and Inventory system development, processes and procedures to best manage the material (owned by Chromalloy, CMS, Customers, others).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works directly with Chromalloy units located to forecast and plan inventory requirements. Works direct with Central Purchasing Inventory Analysts and planners to determine annual material requirements to be procured each month and Quarter.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
_ _Education/Experience:
Aviation or business degree or FAA Powerplant License preferred, or 2- Years-experience managing sales and inventory activities for LM Aeroderivative series, or V2500 series, or RB211-535E4, CF6-80C2, CFM56 series, or PW4000 series engine models. To include engine QEC and LRU components.
