    Su mmary:

    Chromalloy is looking for a Human Resources Intern to provide multi-function & multi-level level support to the Human Resources Business Partner within Chromalloy’s Oldsmar Florida office. The candidate must be confident, helpful, collaborative, energetic, and enjoy working in a fast paced, results-driven environment. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion and display strong organizational skills to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

    Primary Accountabilities

    • On a frequent basis, the HR Intern will provide coverage in HR customer service and as such will be the first contact with employees, managers and vendors. This coverage will also include:
    • Screen incoming calls and route calls to appropriate persons or voicemail
    • Take initiative with day to day operational deliverables and HR assignments.
    • Assist with the planning and execution of employee motivational and welfare activities.
    • Work with Recruiting and HR on conducting phone interviews, coordinating interview schedules, ATS system dispositions, new hire packets and assist with pre-employment and drug screening for prospective new hires.
    • Provide administrative, data analysis, files/records management and compliance support for the HR Department.
    • Support with corporate HR initiatives as it pertains to training, focus groups and general tier 1 employee relations support aligned to our core values.

    • Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
    • High School diploma required
    • Currently enrolled in college courses and must be going into their Junior year of BA degree.
    • Demonstrated Microsoft Office Suite proficiency(Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • High degree of integrity and ethics and the ability to protect confidential employee and organizational information
    • High degree of composure and ability to deal with high velocity change, fluctuating priorities and shifting deliverables
