Summary: Our Maintenance Technicians repair, install, and replace electrical equipment and appliances.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential problems and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Repair and replace faulty components, such as motors, bearings, belts, and electrical controls, to restore equipment to optimal working conditions.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and work performed.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly, to ensure minimal disruption to production operations.
• Participate in equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades as required.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and well-stocked maintenance shop by managing the inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or (GED)
• 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Previous experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, power transmissions, PLC, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance

• The employee is occasionally required to talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 90 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
