  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • The position is responsible for maintaining QMS manuals/policies/procedures/technical documentation, coordination/management of regulatory compliance audits, and manage export/ITAR compliance

    • Maintain QMS to ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements.

    • Coordinate/lead internal or external compliance audits.

    • Support requests to update process related documents, i.e. traveler/work instructions

    • Prepare management reports related to compliance as needed.

    • Monitor quality compliance systems to ensure their effectiveness and report any inefficiencies with possible solutions.

    • Ensure updated documents have been uploaded into the proper computer systems.

    • Maintain/release/archive quality control procedures, managing current/historical details.

    • Importing of external procurement specifications into quality system

    • Maintain all controlled technical data.

    • Manage Outside Processing Requests (OPRs)

    • Load new part entry into Epicor.

    • Maintain quality management system manuals, forms, ECPs, quality control/process procedures, and specifications.

    • Support internal QMS audits – ISO9001, AS9110

    • Support external agency/regulatory audits – FAA, EASA, CAAC, NADCAP

    • Support export administrator duties / ITAR compliance

    • Manage master lists/schedules related to regulatory compliance including vendor audits.

    • Maintain and distribute a variety of QMS reports as needed.

    • Review/order industry specifications as needed.

    • Filing / scanning as needed

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • The level of education and/or experience required to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job are as follows.

    ** Associate degree with a minimum of 3 years of quality related experience; or a minimum of 7 years of quality related experience.**

    • Knowledge of quality system requirements preferred.

    • Knowledge of ISO 9000 (regulatory) requirements with some knowledge of aerospace requirements preferred.

    • FAA experience a plus +

    • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft office applications.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills

    • Strong verbal, written and communication skills

    • Safety conscious

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
