POSITION SUMMARY

The role requires an Epicor finance resource, who has extensive hands-on experience with implementations, upgrades, solution development, and on-going user support.  As the Epicor Finance Expert, you report directly to the Global ERP Manager and are a critical member of the global team.

SKILLS

• Advise how Epicor can support business objectives by studying existing processes; gathering detailed requirements; monitoring user work practices and assessing existing automated and manual interfaces.
•  Identify existing business processes to streamline, which will improve data quality and integrity, reduce reporting time, or enhance communications
• Participate in new application development by translating business processes into workflow charts and diagrams that maximize Epicor usage.
• Able to track project activity, resolve problems, publish progress reports, recommend solutions during an implementation or upgrade, and communicate appropriate feedback to stakeholders.
• Competent at writing and maintaining user documentation and technical reports for finance business solutions.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and report development as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Finance setup for implementation, upgrades, and new development
• Resolve errors that prevent completion of on-going business processes
• Train users on business transactions that effect company’s financial status
• Response to Help Desk Tickets
• Ad-Hoc Projects
• Business Process Improvements

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, IT, Business Administration or related field
• Seven (7) or more years of relevant experience
• Previous experience leading an ERP implementation across multiple sites with cross functional teams
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or engineering organization

EPICOR EXPERIENCE

• Highly skilled at business use of Finance Management Module [AR, AP, Cash, Currency, and GL]
• Hands on involvement with financial transactions generated from Material Management and Production Modules and their effect on financial reporting.
• Epicor Finance Lead for an implementation or upgrade in a single or multi-company environment
• Finance & Operations Experience (ideally from a manufacturing or MRO background)
