    This is a unique opportunity for a sharp, career-minded individual to participate in a paid internship with Chromalloy. As part of your internship, you will work closely with various finance/business teams across the organization as you support the corporate accounting function with duties such as journal entries, AR/AP, account reconciliations, and intercompany accounting.

    Responsibilities:

    Accounting Interns may participate in a variety of finance related tasks, both business/operational and technical. This role is designed to provide exposure to a corporate finance atmosphere and assist in the process of decision making and analyzing business results and operations. Tasks may include:

    • Provide transaction-based support for month-end close processes including account reconciliations, journal entries, and other accounting related projects
    • Perform financial analysis including the evaluation of financial statements
    • Develop, analyze and improve large and complex Excel spreadsheets as required
    • Assist in managing the intercompany charges between units and between Corporate and units
    • Continuous Improvement projects related to AP/AR and general accounting as assigned

    Additionally, you will be able to:

    • Effectively communicate with all levels of management
    • Ensure the execution/implementation of ad hoc projects as requested
    • Assist with presentation materials as requested
    • Build relationships with remote stakeholders, customers, and peers

    Requirements:

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree, 3rd year, in Finance Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including data analysis and financial modeling)
    • Basic understanding of core financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement)
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the use of Microsoft PowerPoint
    • Ability to prioritize objectives and manage time
    • Ability to work well independently
    • Exposure to inventory a plus

    · Minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA

    · Previous Internship Experience preferred, but not required
