    Job Description

    This position supports Operating Unit management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating Financial and Operational information; recommending actions. The position reports to the Director of Finance and dotted line to the Site General Manager.

    ** Duties and Responsibilities:**

    • Manage all accounting and financial activities including cost accounting, AP, AR, Capex, Inventory, audit support, tax support, and risk management.
    • Lead the site month-end close with all required balance sheet reconciliation.
    • Provide all financial deliverables to corporate on a timely manner.
    • Provide variance analysis vs. budget, forecast, prior year and estimate.
    • Lead the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly estimate.
    • Prepare site for 13 weeks cash flow.
    • Work closely with the regional finance director to achieve region and company target.
    • Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective accounting processes and internal controls to improve the close and reporting cycles.
    • Work closely with site partners in providing value-added analysis and decision support vital to driving the business.
    • Manage the accumulation and preparation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of site business results.
    • Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process.
    • Prepare and review weekly/monthly reports with senior management to identify drivers of variances and provide insightful explanations.
    • Participation in Chromalloy Performance Excellence (CPEX), and Chromalloy Financial Excellence (CFIN) projects
    • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
    • Provide direction to the finance team regarding procedures and systems to maintain strong financial controls.
    • Supervise, hire, train, coach, develop, and retain site finance personnel.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ** Education:** __

    • BA or BS required in Finance, Accounting, Economics
    • CMA, CPA or MBA preferred

    _Experience: _

    • 5+ years of related experience;
    • 2 years minimum in a manufacturing environment

    ** Skills:** __

    • Experience working with and extracting data from ERP systems

    • Demonstrated financial analysis and modeling expertise (NPV, IRR, etc); highest standards of accuracy and precision.

    • Strong understanding of accounting and the ability and experience to apply this knowledge

    • Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team environment, and to proactively develop solutions with minimal guidance; an individual who is able to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated.

    • Extensive computer experience using MS Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office products.

    • Complex Excel and Access functions, experience with SQL is a plus.

    • Consolidation software experience with Hyperion, HFM, and Hyperion Planning preferred.

    • A relentless and versatile learner who is open to change and enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks

    • Strong oral and written communication skills.

    • Strong understanding of both financial and operational processes.
