    We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2023. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy. 

    The Client Services Intern is responsible for providing customer care to Sensitech’s client base. The service-oriented internship will use their analytical thinking skills to provide a high level of service to our customers across all industry verticals. Verticals include Food, Life Science, Consumer and Industrial. The internship will have many opportunities to work on projects that help Client Services team and Sensitech to drive continuous improvement and gain efficiency.

    As a Client Services Intern, you will gain experience to include, but is not limited to activities and tasks listed below:

    • Customer & Product Support

    • Learn and troubleshoot logistic, product, and procedural issues

    • Act as a customer advocate to ensure timely delivery and engage in the customer complaint process

    • Actively participate with the Client Services team to establish processes and improve efficiency by utilizing Carrier Excellence tools

    • Add value to internal and external customers

    • Order Support

    • Purchase Order/Contract review; order qualification and processing; post-sales follow-up; customer and program engagement; coordination with Sales, Professional Services, and Supply Chain departments

    • Phone support - field inbound calls regarding customer inquiries and orders

    • Collaborate with Supply Chain/Inventory, Programming, Shipping, and Finance departments to ensure on-time deliveries and consistent customer communication

    • Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement

    • Identify areas for improvements, collect data and make a recommendation to improve client services team output and gain efficiency

    • Perform projects that lead to cost-saving opportunities

    • Collect and analyze data collected from ERP systems and CRM tools and make recommendations and drive positive changes in Client Services procedures

    • Analyze Client Services metrics and drive enhancements

    • Complete projects with little supervision and/or direction

    EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

    • Self-driven and proactive

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

    • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects

    EDUCATION

    • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, majoring in a business-related field of study

    • GPA must be greater than or equal to a 3.0 GPA

    • Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred
