We are currently looking for a Commercial Rotation Program Analyst - Food / Nutrition (Biosolutions) - Adrian, MI near Ann Arbor.

Biosolutions is WACKER's Life Sciences Division with a strong focus on biotechnology, providing cutting-edge solutions to Food, Pharma, Agro and other customers. Biosolutions is the fastest growing business within Wacker's global business portfolio.

Employees on this program will complete 4 to 6 month commercial assignments in several business units during a two-year period. The assignments will be based in corporate offices in the U.S. in Adrian, MI (near Ann Arbor); and other locations throughout the U.S. as needed. Commercial Rotation Program Analyst will gain business knowledge of marketing programs that identify overall industry demand for cyclodextrins and other products developed by our Biosolutions Division. Analyst will participate in marketing projects and studies in support of selling activities. Analyst will also participate in Sales planning and customer meetings in order to gain additional commercial experience while in the rotation program.

At the end of 2 years, employees who successfully complete the Commercial Rotation Program will move into Sales or Marketing positions in the U.S. Geographic flexibility is required during this program and upon completion of this program.

Your Tasks

• Gain technical product knowledge through assignments in the labs (Adrian, MI)
• Assist with special projects at our manufacturing complex in Eddyville IA
• Perform market studies of the food industries to identify potential customers and demand for cyclodextrins
• Review marketing and sales data to assist with selling process.
• Accompany Sales Managers on customer visits

Your Profile

• Students with distinguished academic achievement in the following majors are encouraged to apply: Biology, Biochemistry, Food Sciences & Technology, Nutritional Sciences and similar
• Degrees in Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain, etc. will be considered especially with additional technical background or interest (e.g.classes taken in Life Sciences).
• Leadership experience in student organizations or other team activities is desirable.
• Interest in pursuing technical sales utilizing Food Sciences foundation;
• Interest and awareness of marketing and sales processes.

Must be able to work in the US without current or future visa support
