    POSITION SUMMARY:

    This person will be responsible for auditing and monitoring GPS progress in all global manufacturing sites to ensure that the data is valid.  This person will also provide training for site personnel on GPS and assist where needed to drive improvements in existing sites or new sites.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below.

    • 60% Audit and analyze the GPS data being used by the sites and reported to Operations Leadership. This will include a level of travel globally
    • 30% Train site personnel on the GPS process - specifically how to use the data to understand how to drive actions and results
    • 10% Lead/Assist with GPS workshops in existing sites or new acquisitions

    QUALIFICATIONS:  _To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. _

    • Preferably 1-2 years of experience as an engineer in manufacturing

    • Engineering degree

    REQUIRED SKILLS:   

    • High Level interpersonal and leadership skills; must be able to influence and coach across multiple levels within the company and locations; including establishing global partnerships.

    • Demonstrated business acumen

    • Change management leadership capability

    • Strong analytical skills

    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS:   

    • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time to manufacturing sites globally

       

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

      WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
