  • Responsibilities

    The Control System Software Engineer will develop, write, test and document embedded code for safety critical electronic engine control and monitoring systems. You may be involved at any stage of a project life cycle from concept development, integrated/component testing through final production release. You will typically work in project teams with colleagues from other engineering disciplines.

    Key Accountabilities :

    • Design and develop embedded software solutions
    • Integrate software/hardware and software/software
    • Execute component level testing
    • Apply domain knowledge in software life cycle (design to release) and software design patterns
  • Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 1+ years of experience in software development or testing or
    • Master’s degree in engineering
    • Must be a US Citizen
  • Desired skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 2+ years’ experience in embedded safety critical software engineering
    • Familiarity with model-based software design and code generation
    • Experience using a DO-178 compliant software coding process
    • Control systems experience
    • Digital logic design experience
    • Experience with verification and testing frameworks
    • Relevant engineering degree(s) in order of preference: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
  • Compensation
    Pay Range $65,586.00 - $98,430.00-Annually
