Our 10-week Summer Internship Program encourages college students to explore their professional interests while working on real business projects. Our program goal is to bring your academic topics to life, give you an opportunity to see what job opportunities are possible and prepare each student for a potential full-time position after graduation in one of our challenging leadership programs or direct hire roles.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Corporate Communications Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting communications strategies that leverage media relations, social media, brand storytelling, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who is interested in learning how to support business strategy through traditional corporate communications and digital media. The intern should be an excellent storyteller, with a particular emphasis on digital content, and must be comfortable engaging with people in different roles across the company.
Requirements – We are looking for YOU if you have:
A degree or are pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Media/News Broadcasting, Corporate Communication or related field. (Rising Junior or Senior preferred)
Graphic design; video editing; social media strategy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
Adobe Creative Suite/Photoshop
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Previous internship or related experience is a plus.
Open to applicants legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment.
Desired:
If you have and maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale after completing full year of college.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $20-30 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com. Other benefit offerings for this role may include annual bonus, if eligible.
