Job Information

The Credit and Collections Analyst role works to determine credit worthiness on both potential and existing customer base and provide with professional recommendation to decision maker's supervisors in order to initiate and continue credit relationship with clients.

Role & Responsibility

Credit Analysis

• Analysis on local customers' information per Doosan policies and procedures to give a recommendation for establishing credit lines.
• Assign existing and potential customers a risk rating per Doosan credit policies.
• Maintain and update customers' credit files for assigned accounts by soliciting any required information to complete credit reviews. Also, provide maintenance of the credit customer database as required.

Cross Team Integration

• Maintain continued and strong relationship with customers and Doosan business units.
• Investigate and resolve cash application issues in conjunction with the cash application team.
• Maintain effective communication between Credit, all internal functions and our customers/dealers.
• Provide support to supervisors' needs and priority activities for achieving individual, department, division and enterprise-wide goals. Some reporting and administrative duties as requested by management.

Collection Management

• Maintain daily order hold report to properly review and release customers' orders or setting consistent conditions for carrying out orders to be released.
• Maximize the collection opportunity of the North America accounts to reduce our risk and improve cash flow.

Job Requirement

• Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or other applicable major.
• Experience Required: 3-5 years in credit and collections.
• Balance sheet, income statement and cash flow analysis skills.
• Knowledge and experience with financing and commercial laws and procedures. Knowledge in UCC/UCP, security instruments, international commerce is preferred.
• Knowledge of insolvency laws
• Knowledge of the industry and markets served is preferred.
• Strong B2B collection background.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good English language conversation and writing skills.
• Competence in all MS Office applications and Oracle / SAP.
