Job Description

Location: San Antonio TX - 100% on-site Duration: 6 month contract (could extend or convert to perm depending on business needs) Must be a US Citizen

DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES: Configure and maintain Linux, UNIX, Windows Servers and other related computer network hardware and software for Division Computer and Network Support Groups, Provide technical support to staff concerning issues involving computer hardware and software. Also to work with small teams to provide Linux, shell script, custom Java application, virtual machine and other system administration support for applications use on variety of NASA and ESA space missions. Support various ECAD (Altium Concord Pro, Libero, Spice) libraries and software used by Engineering teams for development of flight hardware. REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must have Linux, UNIX and Windows Server knowledge
• Experience with Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat database administration or related experiences is preferred
• C++, G#, groovy, or Scala and willingness to learn Java
• 5 years of Linux systems administration experience

Description of Physical Requirement:

• Periods of sitting, periods of walking and some standing
• MVR is required candidates may need to pick up or drop off equipment in personal vehicle (on and off campus)

Dress Code: Business Casual Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm MUST BE A US CITIZEN
