    We are looking for a talented Warehouse Quality Technician to join our team specializing in Quality for our Components Business Segment team in Janesville, WI.

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    • Supporting Engineers in carrying out production-related and inspection jobs; assisting in monitoring materials quality in processing plants and making the required adjustments; ensuring maintenance of documentation and records.
    • Compare the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects.
    • Participate in measurement uncertainty studies for measurements associated with measurement or calibration results.
    • Provides advanced programming, training, and operation of measurement and test equipment.
    • Ensures proper maintenance and calibration of the measurement and test equipment.
    • Assists customers in understanding/interpreting product specifications and application of measurement data.

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • Quality Process Management - Applies and manages methods (e.g. SPC, Capability studies, Layered Process Audit, inspection, test) to ensure quality of Cummins products, processes, and services.
    • Ability to work closely with the plants to determine work instructions, communicate issues, issue MNC's, and rework and returns.
    • Ability to access customer portal websites and assemble customer quality scorecard slides monthly.
    • Effective communication skills.

    Education, Licenses, Certifications

    • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
    • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

    Compensation and Benefits

    Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
