This internship has potential to present a full-time opportunity after graduation. We are seeking a Corporate Financial Analyst Intern to join our Marketing Management team for May August, 2019. The internship will provide exposure to account management for multi-million dollar accounts, product line management, cost accounting and new product development. The intern will have the opportunity to work with several corporate departments in order to gather and analyze information for thousands of products used by corporations and consumers around the world. -Day-to-Day Role: -Gain familiarity with Darts products, production processes, personnel, philosophies, and strategies -Analyze product costs and make financial recommendations that affect the longer-term success of the company -Prepare financial analyses for large National Accounts, Darts current product lines, or for new products we are investigating -Analyze information pertaining to competitive products, competitive prices, and related terms and conditions of sale -Provide administrative sales and service support for customer and salesforce requests -Help maintain and update the cost accounting system to ensure business decisions are based on the best possible information -Core Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate must possess all of the following: -Must be working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field of study with an expected graduation date between August 2019 and August 2020 -Strong attention to detail and accuracy -Ability to calculate, analyze, and interpret mathematical information such as percent differences, ratios, weighted average, etc -Proven analytical problem-solver who enjoys collaboration and teamwork -Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes, procedures and decisions to internal customers -Excellent organizational skills in order to prioritize workload and meet deadlines -A desire to utilize business sense and creativity in order to develop new ideas and meaningful solutions Dart Container is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all candidates for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. -If you have a disability and need an accommodation to access this website or for the application process, you should call Dart at -Ext 3370 or email us at -.
