Relocation Specialist -Date:May 10, 2018 Location:Mason, MI, US Working in the Travel Services Group, the Relocation Specialist will serve as the go-to person for new employees relocating to join our company and current employees transferring to different Dart locations. Our global organization has 30+ facilities in the United States and five international locations. In this role, you willpositively influencethe relocation experience of Dart employees and their families andcontribute to the successful attraction and retentionof employees across the organization. Specifically, the Relocation Specialist will: -Interact with recipients of relocation packages answer questions, coordinate all aspects of their relocation benefits and keep them updated -Coordinate travel accommodations with internal Travel Planners (e.g. air, car, train, hotel and ground transportation) for candidates who have received a relocation package as part of their employment offer -Communicate with Darts designated carriers to schedule moving and storage services for relocation packages -Establish relationships with real estate services and financial institutions to ensure adequate support services to assist Dart employees prior, during and after relocation A successful candidate will demonstrate the highest levels ofempathyandcommitment to customer service. You must have general knowledge of the greater Lansing, Michigan area and be willing to learn about other areas where Dart employees live and work. -Core Skills and Qualifications: The ideal Relocation Specialist candidate must possess all of the following: -Requires one of the following: -Associate's degree with (2) years of experience managing a relocation program for individuals who are selling/buying property or leasing/renting property -Bachelor's degree with one (1) year of experience managing a relocation program for individuals who are selling/buying property or leasing/renting property -Experience providing excellent customer service to employees and their families for relocation needs -General knowledge of the greater Lansing area and a willingness to become familiar with other areas -Demonstrates initiative by responding to requests with a sense of urgency -Excellent verbal communication skills including a pleasant phone demeanor -Ability to maintain composure when faced with stressful situations -Willingness to travel in and around the community where we look to relocate an individual -Willing to commit to ongoing training and education in order to stay on top of the industry changes and technology -Ability to travel up to 20% of the time domestically -Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license -Favorable motor vehicle report upon hire -Ability to work extended work hours and/or weekends, as needed -Overview:As the manufacturer of Dart® and Solo® brand products,Dart Container is an industry leading single-use food and beverage packaging company.
