JOB DESCRIPTION:

At GAF, we’ll make sure you get going on your very first day with a comprehensive orientation into our company. In our program you will have the opportunity to own your own projects, participate in meetings, and work cross-functionally with other departments.

GAF is looking for a Data Analyst Intern. The ideal candidate for this role is majoring in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering. This intern will assist with the development of new subject areas into GAF's Google big query data platform using tools such as Google Cloud Platform and Tableau for visualization and user enablement.

JOB DUTIES:

• Develop a solution for a business need using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server

• Conduct analysis on Tableau functionality and features that are of interest to the team

• Present at a monthly guild meeting to a cross-function group of analysts

• Learn support processes and participate in support rotation to address user requests and incidents

REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent communication skills are all necessary as is the ability to operate in a team. The successful candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and an anticipated graduation date between December 2021 and May 2023.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, without visa sponsorship.

All GAF internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however, there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 37.5 hours per week over the summer. Housing, transportation, F-1 and HB-1 visa sponsorship will not be provided in association with these positions.
