The program:
The Defense CDIO is broken into 3 major categories: IT, Cyber and Data. This role / internship will support the Defense CDIO Data Operations Team. This team provides innovative Data Solutions & Insights that revolutionize the way we work, enabling Defense to deliver enhanced offerings to our customers. We are uniquely able to combine product knowledge with data analytics domain experience, to deliver services that enable Rolls-Royce to manage engines in service and provide valuable insights to our customers.
Internship overview:
The key objectives of this internship are to benefit both the Data Operations DS&I team and the intern. The internship candidates will be provided with an educational, exciting experience allowing opportunities to learn, grow, and develop. At the same time, we hope to provide valuable insight, unique perspectives, and new/creative ways of operating. This partnership will provide the ability for both parties to improve Data Management across Rolls-Royce and keep our team at the forefront of continuous improvement. Specific projects and tasks will be determined and mutually agreed upon at the start of the internship.
What you’ll need:
Ideal candidates will demonstrate general exposure in the following areas:
Relevant Majors: Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, or Informatics
Standing/Graduation eligibility: Candidate will be returning to university after the internship and will be working towards a degree within the relevant major.
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Work Authorization Eligibility: Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. There are no sponsorships for this internship.
