The renewables operations will consist of plants in Texas and Arkansas that produce biodiesel fuel and a renewable diesel facility in California. The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores which also market motor fuels in central and west Texas and New Mexico. Job Description/Duties: - Responsibilities will include installation, fabrication, welding and repair on equipment such as pipe, steel structure, reactors, heat exchangers, towers, heaters, boilers, tanks and other related equipment in the refinery. - Follow all safety rules and guidelines established by the Refinery and participates in safety meetings, safety programs, field safety audits, and VPP inspections. Position Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED certificate required. - Minimum 3 years of experience with a certification in welding SMAW process required. - GTAW process highly desirable. - Must have the ability to work in a team environment. - Must possess the ability to read and interpret piping drawings and take field measurements. - Must possess leadership skills and willing to work in temporary supervisory positions as required. - Must have the ability to take 24 hour call, work extended hours over extended periods of time, work weekends, holidays, and be flexible to work both day and night rotations as required. - Must be able to work in adverse conditions and wear all required personal protection equipment including fire retardant clothing. - Must be able to pass the pre-employment process including but not limited to pre-employment testing, drug screening, physical, background check and have possession of or able to obtain a TWIC card. - Must be willing and able to participate on the Emergency Response Team.
