This exciting opportunity is located in our Rochester, NY Customer Center. Responsibilities and duties : Member of a team providing a calibration solution for a customer application project or Delphi internal new technology/strategic project Calibration tasks will be assigned by the project Lead Calibration Engineer Perform engine management calibration tasks for Powertrain Control Modules (PCM), such as base engine control, diagnostics, drivability, emissions, and fuel economy Propose algorithm modifications to improve system performance Test and validate new versions of PCM software Traits we seek : Curiously investigate everything ability to solve problems analytically, creatively and collaboratively Lead with confidence thought leaders who empower those around them Learn by doing an entrepreneurial mindset thats driven by hands-on experimentation Embrace resilience seeing every challenge as a learning opportunity and invitation to grow Candidates for positions with Delphi Technologies must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. RSR Position Requirements Basic qualifications : 1+ years experience with Otto Cycle gasoline engine, including combustion metrics 1+ years experience with electronic engine control systems Currently a student enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering at the time Internship begins Current GPA of 3.0 or higher Nice to haves (preferred qualifications) : Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
