CARRIER is looking for Computer Engineering/Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or other Information Technology majors with demonstrated leadership ability and strong academic performance to join our Digital Technology Leadership Program! The Digital Technology Leadership Program (DTLP) offers fresh graduates an opportunity to deliver real results in the areas of business process, infrastructure, and product development, through 3 eight-month rotations across CARRIER business units. Our commitment to you is to provide front-line, hands-on, meaningful assignments designed to stretch your capabilities and accelerate your professional development. In addition to the hands-on experience gained through the rotation assignments, the Associates will receive high-caliber training, mentoring, and guidance from leading CARRIER executives, current DTLP Associates, and DTLP alumni, in order to build a strong and lasting global network of colleagues.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
During the candidate's time in the program, other rotational assignments are available in Digital Technology's departments throughout Fire & Security Products, Refrigeration, Commercial HVAC, Residential HVAC, and CARRIER Corporate Headquarters. Our dedication to you is to provide front-line, hands-on, meaningful assignments designed to stretch your capabilities and improve your learning. Each Associate will have the opportunity to experience different functional rotations within 3 of the following areas: Cybersecurity & Risk Management, Data Science & Analytics, Enterprise Business Systems, Infrastructure Services, Product & Project Management, Software Development, and User Experience Design.
Participants will develop critical skills in the following disciplines:
Agile methodologies
Change management
Customer engagement
Cloud-native solutions
Design thinking & UX design
Enterprise cybersecurity
Enterprise systems architecture
Executive presence & communications
Project management
Product management
Rotations are primarily located and assigned throughout that program in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and Atlanta, GA.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Selection for the Digital Technology Leadership Program will be based on the following minimum criteria:
Applicant must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
GPA of 3.0 is required ( 3.2 preferred)
Bachelor's/Master's degree in a STEM-related field
Proactive and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Preferred strong technical skills in any of the following: UI design, software development, data analytics, data science, Cloud infrastructure, networking, or cybersecurity
Relevant internships or co-op experiences within Information Technology or Engineering functions
Team player with a positive, collaborative work ethic
Digitally savvy with an interest in cutting-edge digital trends
Less than one year of professional work experience
Flexibility and mobility to be located in either West Palm Beach, Florida, or Atlanta, GA locations.
