    We are looking for a student to join GE Appliances’ Sales organization working with our Inside Sales Retail team. This is a year-long internship with potential for future opportunities with GEA Appliances. In this role, you will work with members of the Inside Sales team on a variety of different projects at GE Appliances’ National Sales Center located in Louisville, Kentucky.

    Upon graduation, Sales Interns have the opportunity to interview for our Sales Commercial Development Program. The Sales Commercial Development Program is a leadership program designed to provide employees with experience in both the Retail and Contract sales channels while building a cross-functional network.

    How You'll Create Possibilities

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work with Inside and Field Area Sales Managers to respond to customer inquiries and issue resolution
    • Provide sales support to improve productivity within the Retail Sales team
    • Create and analyze sales reports to drive increased productivity and execution
    • Assist Sales Managers with many different types of account maintenance tasks
    • Build relationships with internal functions to improve sales support processes
    • Own special projects as assigned

    What You'll Bring to Our Team

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or better in business, finance, sales, marketing or similar degree program
    • December 2024 or later graduation date
    • Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States now and in the future. GE Appliances will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
    • Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week throughout school year and 40 hours per week over summer during normal business hours (Mon. - Fri. 8:00am - 5:00pm)
    • Due to year-round nature of position, candidate must be attending school in local area.
    • Have excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, is reliable & able to maintain high attendance standards.
