Job Description

Distribution and Shipping Clerks work with a cross-functional team to support a smooth flow of components throughout the facility and manage the inventory control process.

Responsibilities:

• Process incoming loads of raw paper components.
• Maintain accurate inventory of paper components.
• Complete and process related documents and forms in a timely manner
• Work with team to ensure inventory control process and related systems are functional, up-to-date and accurate.
• Process paper claims.
• Distribute paper to the press machines, as needed, avoiding delays that may result in down-time.
• Create roll labels.
• Compete bi-annual paper inventory audit.
• Slip paper.
• Forklift Operation.
• Processes waste through they recycling process (movement, trailer loading, etc)
• Assist team in keeping the department clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Complete cross-training to support other roles in the the Shipping & Receiving Department.
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor

This is a 1st Shift position, Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Flexibility and the ability to manage change.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others in the organization effectively and professionally.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Prefer prior experience in a production atmosphere.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to share information internally and externally for the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Forklift Experience

Disclosure Statement:

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $18.21to $26.53 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
