Requisition ID: 893 Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution. Job Responsibilities Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Respond to queries either in person or over the phone. Write training manuals. Train computer users. Maintain daily performance of computer systems. Respond to email messages for customers seeking help. Ask questions to determine nature of problem. Walk customer through problem-solving process. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. Clean up computers. Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems. Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems. Install computer peripherals for users. Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved. Gain feedback from customers about computer usage. Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur. Pursues personal development and training opportunities to keep pace with technology changes and growth. Education: (Indicate typical education needed for the position) Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field. Experience Requirements: (Indicate typical work experience specifying minimum years of experience.) 1-3 years proven working experience in providing help desk support. License or Certification: (Desired) A+ (CompTIA ) HDI Desktop Support Technician (HDI-DST) MCSA: Windows 10 (Microsoft) Desired Skills : (Examples: Software Skills, Communication Skills, Competencies, Preferred Education) Proficiency in English Strong working knowledge of help desk software, databases and remote control Strong client-facing and communication skills Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills Displays and practices the highest level of customer service orientation Additional Requirements : (Ex: Location or Language Requirements AND Indicate foreign service assignment, if applicable) WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (List any physical requirements that are necessary to produce the critical results of the position.
