POSITION SUMMARY AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The INTERNAL CONTROLS ANALYST will identify weaknesses in the organization’s work processes and implement methods to minimize risk. Audit and inspect operational processes for adherence to internal controls. Analyze results and report findings to appropriate parties. May recommend remediation activities. Monitor the effectiveness of programs and processes using data and internal auditing programs. Validate standard work instructions and procedures to ensure adherence to controls and update as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or other relevant field of study
- 5-7 year of experience
- Advanced understanding of financial analysis and accounting principles
- Advanced analytical skills
- Ability to effectively plan and organize
- Ability to write professional reports and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, and customers
- Ability to professionally and tactfully interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

GENERAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
