Our new beautiful center, The Rehabilitation Center of Lake City, is looking for a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist will be responsible for improving the well-being of the center residents who have illnesses or disabilities. This will be done through treatment services and recreation activities by using: sports, arts, crafts, dance, music, and other techniques to reduce stress, improve function, and build confidence in the residents, while observing and documenting their reactions, participation, and progress. In addition to facilitating the center operations and care to our residents who requires rehabilitation, the CTRS will also, support the company's mission, vision, core values, and provide excellent customer service to associates, residents, visitors, and guests.

Required Experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in psychology or physiology and/or Certification in related field; along with, National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC).
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and of good moral character.
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance, as required.
- Must be able to follow and/or provide strong communication skills effectively through written and oral delivery in a manner appropriate for a healthcare/office setting.
- Must be able to problem solve, if needed.
- Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment exam, if required.
